Sharing appreciation, enjoyment, & knowledge for the art of beading

Healing with Beads- Bead artist, instructor and author Heidi F. Kummli, a cancer survivor from Ward, CO, has begun a monthly beading and support group for women living with breast cancer called “Healing with Beads” at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center. She has also recently been asked to bring her “Healing With Beads” class to another group of ladies with Stage IV breast cancer, so your donations are now doubly needed. You can visit her website at www.freespiritcollection.com. She is volunteering her time and instruction, and is asking those who can to contribute supplies for the classes.

You can help by donating the following: scissors, crimpers, Beadalon bead stringing wire .018 - .021, crimps size 1, beads big enough for the wire to go through (probably nothing smaller than size 8 and up), natural stone beads and chips, necklace clasps, jump rings, healing charms, bead mats, headpins, earring wires, metal beads, large beads, pliers, and anything fun.

Our membership has voted to take up a collection of items at each meeting to be sent to Heidi for these classes. All members are highly encouraged to donate what and when they are able.
